Gavin's 2nd Birthday

Our little G-Ball turned TWO!!
What the heck!!
I can't believe he is already 2. We had a Crazy 1st year with him, but I have to say this past year has been such a blast! He is such an Awesome kid! I could go on and on about what a Great kid he is and how much we love him! ... lets just say we have the best son ever!

He got a REAL basketball hoop!

So his Birthday was on a Saturday. Our original plan was go to St. George and meet my family. But because of our last minute trip to Utah, which was like a week before. We decided to just stay home.

So we started off the day at the pool.
Gavin isn't much of a fan of the pool unless it is as hot as the hot tub. The hot tub is the only "real" pool for him.

Then after Nap time we headed to the Park. We decided to bring his Basketball Hoop. Such a good idea, because he thought he was the real deal!

We even brought his Tee. He couldn't be happier!!

He loves that Toy! He loves pushing all the buttons, he loves the lights, his wings. Everything!
He walks around with him saying
"To Infinitely and beyond"
(But in his cute baby voice... so cute!)

He also got New shoes for his B-Day... and yes, he insisted on wearing them to Bed!

St. Patrick's Day

ST. PATRICK'S DAY
What can I say we love any kind of Holiday!
So yes, we had fun wearing all of our Green, Making Green Drinks and turning our Oatmeal Chocolate Chip dough Green!

After Dinner we went on a Bike Ride
Which we do a lot these Days!
Its our new Favorite thing to do as a family!
Me and Ryan got our bikes for Valentine's Day and I got the Bike trailer/jogging stroller for my Birthday!
I can't tell you how much i love it.

This is how we found Gavin, when we went to check on him before going to bed.

HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!

Last Minute Utah Trip

Very Very Last minute (like less then 17 hours notice) we got to go to
UTAH!
A little crazy, trying to get laundry done, pack, clean, finding subs for my little sunbeam class, and just trying to get everything ready to leave.
We were very excited to go see all of our Family, but of course sad cause Ryan had to stay home and work. And yes we were not excited to go to cold weather!
When the doors of the Airplane opened the cold wind came in it totally took Ava's breathe away and then she said... "Why are we here again!"

This is what we came to!! What the heck!

Because our trip was a little last minute, we didn't have anything planned. So we mostly just hung out with family... Which is always good!
Some of what we did do....

•Ava got to go with my mom to school the whole time.
•We went and had school lunch with Nate.
•Jack was in his end of season basketball tournament... Which they took 2nd. They beat the hardest team to get to the championship game, and then lost to worst team. : (
•Went to Laura's to see the wild animals she has at her house.
•Made Costa Vida Salads up at Emily's house with all the family
•Went shopping up in Park City while the boys Skied.
•Went to the park, in the OK weather
•Played with a lot of Cousins.
•Me and the kids got to go visit my Dad! Which was really good!
•The kids had Doctor Appointments with Melissa, for well checks and Shots.
•Both kids got the Stomach Flu... or something like the flu while we were there!

•Went and watched Will and Spencer play Soccer— Which was outside and we didn't know it. So we were not prepared for the FREEZING weather! So me and the kids went to the car. And of course while we waited in the car the kids played with all the buttons. So when we got out of the car to say Bye, of course we got LOCKED OUT! Thank Goodness for Will, Yesie and the BYU Police Men!
•Got to hang out Rachel and Braden, and get Cafe Rio Salads.
•Me and the kids got to hang out with Alyse and Alysen and there kids. Crazy between the 3 of us we have 6 kids!
•Got to have Family Dinner with the Hyde's.

Yes—That is a real Raccoon—not a stuffed animal.

We love and miss all of our Family Member in UTAH
We were so lucky to be able to go!

Ava's School Hike

Last Month Ava's Little Class went for a
Hike
at the Usery Mountain Regional Park.
They have a hike Designed "Just for Kids." Where a Park Ranger takes them out on a 1 mile Hike and shows them
how to use their senses to discover lots of cool things about the plants and animals that call the desert “home.” It was just a few minutes away from our house so me and Gavin decided to go. Of course Gavin Loved it and thought he was so BIG!
I brought his Stroller, cause it was more like a flat Trail then a Hike. But of course he was too big to sit in it!

He just wanted to walk the whole time!

At the end of the Hike we got to eat our Lunch.

And all the kids got Badges!
Which they were very excited about!
