BriDal Veil FaLLs

A couple of days ago we had the Best Weather, it was only 85 degrees and overcast! so we decided to go up the Canyon to
Bridal Veil Falls
and have a little picnic. We had so much fun up there, we ended up staying for 3 hours! The kids loved playing in the Water and Climbing all the Rocks. And we couldn't complain cause the weather was SO Perfect.

Ava the BIG GiRL!!!

Ava is Officially POTTY TRAINED!
After much laziness on Both our Parts, we decided it's time! When we ran out of Pull-ups last Sunday I said that's it, I'm done buying those things! The first couple of days we had a few accidents, but so far so good! I'm SO excited!

4th of JuLy

Our 4th of July really started on the 3rd. My family was saving spots for the Parade, so we went and hung out with them. They save spots outside my aunt Linda's building on University Ave so they can have power to hook up all there game system. They brought down 3 X-Boxs so they could play Halo. And they had Rock Band going. It was quite the set up! This guy from channel 2 News even came by and filmed them... but it didn't make the News! I guess we looked too white trash!

So the 4th began Bright and Early with the Balloons, it is really early but totally worth it! Ava talks about the Balloons all the time! Then we went to the Parade... what can I say it is just your typical Parade, but ava really likes it. And this year my cousin Mia cheered in it. She is going to be a Freshmen at Provo High, so it was her first time in the Parade.

After the Parade we headed home and took a family Nap! We were all so tired from getting up so early, and we had to rest up for the late night we had a head of us!

That evening Ryan's Parents and Rachel came down to Provo to go to dinner with us. We went to P.F Changs I know that is not a Typical 4th of July Meal up Ryan's brother Spencer had to work so we went to visit. And of Course we had to get Cold Stone after!

After Dinner and Dessert we headed to Sullivan's back yard and did the Fireworks thing... gotta
LOVE the 4th of JULY!

(And no she is not grabbing her boob, she has her hand on her heart for the Flag)

Seth and his Posy, they were up all nigh... and they slept during the whole Parade!

It took Ava awhile to get used to and like all the Fireworks! But she came around... and she really liked the "Sprinklers"

OuR FIRST CaMPout

Last weekend we went CAMPING! Yes I said Camping! Ryan has been wanting to go, I think he had this memory of when he was a kid and having this amazing campout. So we finally planned it. We went to Palisade State Park just south of Manti.

We bought Ava a flashlight but she liked the one that Spencer let us borrow. She had it on all night and would not turn it off. It was easy to find her. That is my Cousin Lexie that Ava called her "friend". She would yell at us in the tent that she wanted to play with her friend. Isn't camping great ;)

James, Seth and Anne . . . Chillen.

Yeah that was our campfire. They don't let you have a fire pit so we had to go buy a Fire Pit at Wal Mart. Ryan was mad that he couldn't use his fire making skills (we bought those fire logs that you lite and they last all night).

This was in our tent. It was sooo HOT.

This was at the lake by the campground. It got really windy and Ava about had a heart attack. Ryan had to hold her and all our stuff so it wouldn't blow away.

I went and rented this boat for the day. It was very entertaining! It was only a Peddle boat, cause they don't allow Motorized Boats on the little Lake. I think the top Speed was 2mph!

Yeah there was a golf course right by our campground. If it wasn't for the mosquitos it would have been so nice. They golfed 9 holes in the morning and then came for lunch and hung out at the lake with us. Then after a few hours they went and played 18 more. That was the only way we got my Dad to go camping. He says it was camping from Sun down to Sun up, he had a point.

Ava loves the golf carts. She drove one at the Provo High golf tournament with Ryan and loved every second of it.

My brother Seth when he was little walked around like this all the time, he would tell everyone
"The Sun is in my EARS"

The Manti Temple was so pretty.

Camping... Fun... a LOT of WORK!!... Really Dirty!... I just don't think its for us!
