Ryan's Birthday Week!

Ryan's BIRTHDAY was on January 14th! But he really had a Birthday Week. It all started the weekend before when we got together with some of his friends and went out to dinner. We went to Ottavios a really good Italian Restaurant. Monday was his actual Birthday and we went out to dinner with Ryan's family at the Dodo. Afterwards Me, Ryan, Will and Spencer went to the Jazz Game. Our seats were really good they were on the 3rd row behind the opposing teams bench. I watched Kyle Korver the whole game. He is so cute! He makes the Jazz games so much better. Anyway back to Ryan my Husband the one I really love. So the next day we celebrated his birthday with my family. We went to Costa Vida for dinner, and back to my parents for cake (which Ava helped me make.... well, EAT anyway) and ice cream. It's my birthday next month so don't forget! (February 16th) But instead of having a birthday week i want a birthday MONTH.

Ava is our Little BALLERINA! In Ava's words she is a HALLERINA! She loves wearing that TUTU, her Purple Barbie HIGH HEELS and that CROWN that is not even close to fitting her OFF THE CHARTS HEAD!!

Highlights of 2007

My parents both turned 40 this year!

For the 4th of July we got up at 6 to see the Balloons, and went to the
Parade with my family. Then we meet up with Ryan's family for
Lunch and a Movie. And to end our 4th of July we
watched the Fireworks in Grandview Field.

For our 3 year Anniversary we went to Midway
and stayed the night at Zermatt Resort and Spa. So nice and relaxing!

We went to the Zoo Twice this year one time in the Summer
when it was so HOT and the other time in November. It was so nice
when we went in November there was no one there and the
weather was Perfect. Ava Loves going to the ZOO!

This year the Beach was So much Fun. Ava loved playing in the
Sand and being in the water. She was in the water way more then
me. I got in the water for the first time in FOUR years. And I don't
think I will be getting in again. The water in
California is way to COLD for me.

We went to Harry Connick, Jr's concert in June.
It was so fun to see him again.

We love the SUMMER!! We love going to the pool
and just relaxing in the SUN!!

In September Ryan went to the
MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL GAME
in San Francisco with his Dad and Brothers and some friends of theirs.

In October we went and saw LARRY THE CABLE GUY!!

We went to Lagoon during frightmares in October. We had so much
FUN. Ava went on every little kid ride 10 times.

Halloween this year was so much fun with Ava.
She was DEE DEE DOODLE from the DOODLEBOPS.

Ava turned 2 on December 2nd. We got one of the rooms
at brickoven and we had a DORA Birthday Party.
We had Dora balloon and Dora cupcakes. I can't believe she is 2!
She is a BIG GIRL NOW!

Jon and Kate Plus Ei8ht

You have to watch this show its on TLC on Monday nights at 10 o'clock (Utah time) it is one of my FAVORITE reality TV shows. It follows the Gosselin family that has TWIN girls that are 6, and SEXTUPLETS that are 3. It is so fun to watch how stressful and crazy there lives are.... and at times I feel like my life is crazy with just 1 child I don't know how she does it with 8 kids under the age of 6. Ryan always says that Kate reminds him of me, because she is so OCD about things. Her house is always so clean and organized, her kids always have to be wearing the right clothes for the right occasion and he says that I treat him the same way she treats her husband. In a way she does remind me of myself. But you have to watch this show! So Entertaining!

Potty Training

Potty Training its the Pits!! Well I can't really complain to much because Ava has done really Well. But there has definitely been some moments where I want to give up and let her wear pull-ups the rest of her life. Well I guess she is only barely 2 so I Really Can't Complain. Fortunately I only have to deal with #1 cause she has had #2 down sense she was 16 months.

Front Row at the Jazz Game

Last month Me and Ryan sat on the front row at the Jazz game against the Portland Trailblazers. Being on the front row was a whole new experience. When I go to the games on row 20 I am sooo bored. But being on the front row you don't want the game to end.

We were on the Jumbo Tron at least 4 times. We know that to be true because Ryan's sister Rachel was there and was so Jealous.

The reason we were on the front row was because we went with the Roneys for our Christmas Party. Before the game we had catered food on the top floor at the 100 club, and at half time we went and had snacks and drinks. That's my kind of life.

Our New Years Eve

What can I say? We had a pretty WILD New Years Eve!! We went to my Cousin's new house in Spanish Fork and had a family PARTY. We ate food, Played Board Games (we played Scene it Disney 2nd edition and lets just say it got a little crazy, people were getting pretty heated. I think it was because I was getting all the questions right haha not really. . . my cousin that is 20 knew every answer - kinda weird).

The boys played Halo in the Movie Room for most the night. Ava had So much Fun, my Aunt Diane gave her a BIG Deigo! We already have a BIG Dora but she has been wanting BIG Deigo for a long time. When she got Diego (Ava calls him Ego) she was so excited that she carried him around all night. I guess you could say that Deigo was her Date for the night.


We didn't think or plan on Ava making it until Midnight.... but she did. Everyone kept giving her Diet Coke. She was wired until about One. At Midnight we all had a family KISS (Me, Ryan and Ava). Pretty WILD I know!!
