BCS National Championship Tailgate Party

(That is where they filmed all the Live Broadcasts on ESPN)

A few days before the BCS National Championship Game they had
Tailgate Parties
going on in Scottsdale. Of course Gavin Loved every bit of it! They had a Replica of the Football Field. So yes the whole time we were there he was running drills.
They had a lot going on—Different Restaurants were there, a lot of Games, booths to buy your teams paraphernalia, a BCS Museum, Bars (not really for us), Photo Booths, Bands and ESPN!

We walked over to the Stage where they had Music playing—and of course Gavin and the Girls were Dancing. As soon as any of those kids here music they have to dance. And they are very good Dancers! While they were doing so, a Camera Crew was Filming them and Laughing. It was pretty funny. The kids thought they were pretty Special.
I wonder if they ever aired it on something??

Our Little Photo Shoot!

Gavin just waiting his Turn :)

Inside the Museum...it was pretty cool. They had helmets of every team in division I, the national championship crystal football (trophy), and really cool images of the greatest national championships in history.

(don't the girls look so excited to be in the BCS musem!)

It was fun doing something for the BCS National Championship Game!
Gavin was in Heaven!... still to this day he gets his football and stands by the door. And says
"Um, Bye Bye...Football Game... Real Football Game."
We just wish that Oregon would have won! :(

New Years Eve!

New Years Eve we attended the
Fiesta Day Parade!
It was a little Cold—During Christmas Break we had a Cold Blast come through! It was cold in the 40's. But it was still Fun. The kids loved it... unfortunately Gavin didn't come...So sad cause i know he would have Loved it! But he was not feeling good with an Ear Infection. So we decided not to bring him out in the Cold Blast! He stayed home with Mimi.

Before the Parade Started these guys came by with a Big Cart full of Toys—totally Junk toys, I swear they all came from all-a-dollar and then he charges you like he got it toys-r-us! But the girls didn't care they loved there lame toys!
and lets just say I'm really sick of that annoying Horn. Someone is always blowing it in my house!

The Parade—
It did have a lot of Balloons, a lot of Bands...but not a lot of Floats!

The best part of the Parade was these Ladies!!

Kurt Warner was even there!
Me and Ava really only know him from Dancing with the Stars!
Ava was very excited to see him...I think she was star struck!

That night we all Slept up at the Big House... Gavin was not to sure about sleeping there, he just wanted his Real Bed!
We Celebrated with Steak Tacos, Football, we tried to watch a movie, and hot tubbing!

We had a Great Christmas Break!
We loved having family in town!
And we miss them all!
Here's to a Great 2011!

Christmas 2010

Christmas Morning!
I love Christmas Morning with Kids... always the best!
Ava is at the Perfect age for excitement and Gavin—this year is was way cute and very excited about this Baseball Bat!
Ava has been wanting a doll house for so long now. And finding the perfect one (so that we could tell Santa) took time. But once we found it we knew it was the one! All the cute wood furniture, perfect size for Barbies, on wheels and being able to play on both sides was a major plus— perfect for when friends come over!

I love that it is almost bigger then our Christmas Tree!

We just did our Santa presents at our house and then took the rest of the presents up to the big house with everyone to open the rest.
But before we left we got to talk to my family for a little bit on iChat and Gavin really wanted to "Eat, I Eat" So we hurried and fed the kids some Banana Bread—their Favorite. Before we headed up for more Presents and more Breakfast.

Savvy got the BIG Winnie the Pooh, and lets just say it was a fight between Gavin and Savvy. they both wanted it so Bad!
And Gavin with his new "Real Football"

Oh and the Real Deal Outfit.
It is the cuttest thing ever. It came with Numbers and everything. So we put Braden's number 75 on the Jersey and Helmet and had Braden sign the Helmet. It was really Cute.
He's not too sure about the Pants and shirt but he loves the Helmet! He looks like Lord Helmet!

Ava's other Special Present she wanted
the Walking Dog!
She has been "wanting it and wanting it" forever. She would always see it at Target on display and we would have to go look at it every time!
(it's a remote control dog)

Relaxing on the Pillow Pets
Which were a big hit with kids...all the kids got them. And its a good thing they did, cause I'm sure we would of had fights over them!

Amy and Eric sum up how we all felt after our Crazy Day.
The rest of the day was filled with talking to family on iChat, Sleeping, more Presents, and a very Good Christmas Dinner!
We had a Great Christmas...even though it was Different. It was still Good!
Thank you everyone for all the Good Food and Presents we received!
We are so Grateful for all the Family and Friends we have in our Lives!
Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve 2010

Christmas Eve
So for Christmas this year we stayed in Arizona.
Ryan's family came out here and rented a house for a couple of weeks.
We had a Great Christmas! I cant believe it has already come and gone. It's really weird with no Snow, being away from my family and without all the normal Traditions we have in Utah—it kinda didnt feel like Christmas.
Our Christmas eve was low key. The day was filled with last minute shopping... Since the Hydes didn't get here until the night before Christmas eve—that only left one day to finish up shopping, costco, Grocery store and lots of Wrapping. So we decided with all that going on we would save our yummy food for Christmas Day. I think we just had Deli sandwiches—still very yummy in my book.

After dinner we Played Christmas Bingo. And tried to read the Christmas Story—the kids were a little too excited, and were not very interested in it... Shame Shame kids!

After that we headed back to our house to get ready for Santa.

That afternoon Ava helped me make some gingersnap cookies for Santa...
We've heard that it is one of Santa's favorite Cookies!
And instead of just giving him plain Milk—we decided that Santa needed Chocolate Milk, cause its our Favorite!

I love the Cute sign Ava made!
Santa will love that you said Thank You—After all the Hard work he put in!

And yes my kids are wearing the same PJ's as last year— yeah they still fit, while actually they fit way better this year! I think we bought them a tad to big that year!

Rudolph and Gingerbread House

The kids really do look like
Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer
We had a lot of Fun this year making Christmas Crafts, Coloring Projects, Making Cookies and Making Lots and Lots of Snow Flakes to Cover our playroom window.

Building our
Ginger Bread House
was one of our Favorite!
We just bought one of the little kits from the store, and they really don't give you much candy to decorate. So we found things we had at our house. Like, Little marshmallow's, Coconut, Mints and Powdered sugar.
We think it turned out very cute!
(Just don't look on the back or the sides, cause we did nothing to it— too much work and not enough Candy)

Ice Skating

ICE SKATING
A couple of weeks ago Eric's Work rented out a little ice skating rink in Phoenix.
Very strange Ice Skating in 60 degree weather.
We even got Gavin in Skates. He didn't do much, Ryan pretty much dragged him around the rink. But Gavin insisted on doing it.

I have to say i am an Awesome Ice Skater!

Thanks Eric for inviting us!

Santa

SANTA
The Santa at our Ward Party was amazing. He really looked like the real deal. Eric was telling me that he is in our stake and and keeps his beard all year long and he takes candy canes to church to give to the kids—So Cute!

Of course my kids were not nervous at all to sit on his lap...
and Gavin doesn't call him Santa—He calls him "Ho Ho Ho".

He looks so Crazy in that Picture!
The "Ho Ho Ho" gave them candy canes and a cute Bell Necklace.
We Love Santa Clause

Gavin Videos

Dancing Gavin
As much as Gavin loves Sports and is very much a Manly Man.
He also Loves to Dance!
Every week when we go to Dance for Ava, Gavin just wishes he could go into the Classroom with her. Instead he just has to watch. It is so cute watching him look through the windows at all the different Classes going on. We get to Watch Livy, We get to watch Hip Hop (which Gavin loves) and we get to watch Ava and London.

This time. Gavin was Lucky. One of the Dance—Tumbling teachers left his Door open so Gavin could come in and Dance! He was so happy. He was very good. He never went to far in, he would make sure he was right at the edge—never wanted to over step is boundaries.
Anyway the video is so cute.
And Gavin is a very Good Dancer!

Football Gavin
Oh Gavin and Football
His love, his Favorite.
He is a very funny kid. Doesn't want to watch Cartoons—Just Football.
In the morning when he wakes up—oh so early we just put on Football and he is good to go for at least an hour. That means more sleep for me.
And yes he really does wait to hike it, runs Drills, Tackles and makes touch downs! This is serious Business!

Yelling Gavin
Gavin loves to talk. We can't understand most of what he says. And sometime he gets very heated about something and he lets you have it. Oh the hands—he loves to talk with his hands! It makes it more dramatic.

He is a very funny kid. So much personality.
We love you G.
