Rudolph and Gingerbread House

The kids really do look like
Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer
We had a lot of Fun this year making Christmas Crafts, Coloring Projects, Making Cookies and Making Lots and Lots of Snow Flakes to Cover our playroom window.

Building our
Ginger Bread House
was one of our Favorite!
We just bought one of the little kits from the store, and they really don't give you much candy to decorate. So we found things we had at our house. Like, Little marshmallow's, Coconut, Mints and Powdered sugar.
We think it turned out very cute!
(Just don't look on the back or the sides, cause we did nothing to it— too much work and not enough Candy)

Ice Skating

ICE SKATING
A couple of weeks ago Eric's Work rented out a little ice skating rink in Phoenix.
Very strange Ice Skating in 60 degree weather.
We even got Gavin in Skates. He didn't do much, Ryan pretty much dragged him around the rink. But Gavin insisted on doing it.

I have to say i am an Awesome Ice Skater!

Thanks Eric for inviting us!

Santa

SANTA
The Santa at our Ward Party was amazing. He really looked like the real deal. Eric was telling me that he is in our stake and and keeps his beard all year long and he takes candy canes to church to give to the kids—So Cute!

Of course my kids were not nervous at all to sit on his lap...
and Gavin doesn't call him Santa—He calls him "Ho Ho Ho".

He looks so Crazy in that Picture!
The "Ho Ho Ho" gave them candy canes and a cute Bell Necklace.
We Love Santa Clause

Gavin Videos

Dancing Gavin
As much as Gavin loves Sports and is very much a Manly Man.
He also Loves to Dance!
Every week when we go to Dance for Ava, Gavin just wishes he could go into the Classroom with her. Instead he just has to watch. It is so cute watching him look through the windows at all the different Classes going on. We get to Watch Livy, We get to watch Hip Hop (which Gavin loves) and we get to watch Ava and London.

This time. Gavin was Lucky. One of the Dance—Tumbling teachers left his Door open so Gavin could come in and Dance! He was so happy. He was very good. He never went to far in, he would make sure he was right at the edge—never wanted to over step is boundaries.
Anyway the video is so cute.
And Gavin is a very Good Dancer!

Football Gavin
Oh Gavin and Football
His love, his Favorite.
He is a very funny kid. Doesn't want to watch Cartoons—Just Football.
In the morning when he wakes up—oh so early we just put on Football and he is good to go for at least an hour. That means more sleep for me.
And yes he really does wait to hike it, runs Drills, Tackles and makes touch downs! This is serious Business!

Yelling Gavin
Gavin loves to talk. We can't understand most of what he says. And sometime he gets very heated about something and he lets you have it. Oh the hands—he loves to talk with his hands! It makes it more dramatic.

He is a very funny kid. So much personality.
We love you G.

A couple of weeks ago we went with the Nielsens up to Scottsdale and went to the
Train Park
They had Characters, A Carousel and best of all a Train Ride throughout the park with lots of Holiday Light!

We had fabulous Time!
I'm really glad that the Nielsens invited us to tag along with them!

Ava Soccer 2010

This Fall/Winter Ava played in a little
Soccer League
It was very strange playing soccer in December!
We debated whether or not to sign her up this year, but then we thought about Gavin and how much he would love go and watch—wrong, he thought it was his team, his sport and there was no way he was getting off the field!
And to make things worse for Gavin, Ryan coached. So he really wanted—needed to be out on the field.
Anyway back to Ava. Of course Ava loved it. She loves everything. She was very excited having her Dad be her coach.

Love that Picture!
And yes the game was going on.

Her little team
Yes very little. We did start out with 5 players but then one of them broke her wrist, so then we only had 4. So every team we played had to sit people. It was a little hard. Cause there were some weeks when someone was sick or out of town.
But not a big deal...we still had fun.

The "real" team.
When we told the team to come over for a picture...of course Gavin came running!
So cute.
And I have to say he really was one of the best on our team. He can a dribble the ball 10x better then Ava (no offense Ava, his legs are just shorter).

Gavin on the field with his Ball—Playing

They even got Trophies! Ava was very excited about that one—she kept saying
"wow, my very first trophy!"
Ava you did awesome. Ryan you were a great coach (its hard coaching little kids, cause not only do you have to coach soccer but you are also the entertainment coordinator! ) And Gavin I can't wait for you to be old enough to play on your own team!

Ava's 5th Birthday at Disneyland!

So this year we decided to go to
Disneyland
for Ava's 5th Birthday
.
We are all about experiences in our family. And we thought why spend a lot of money on a birthday party and lots of presents that she would forget all about. When we could use that money and go to Disneyland and let her pick out a Souvenir for her present!
I'm so Happy we did it...
Not only did we have so much Fun at Disneyland... but we loved seeing the Tibbitts!

Gavin was very Star Struck! He would get so excited to see the characters. Then once you got close he would get very nervous. He would stare at them, give them five and say "Bye Bye" really fast. Then he was done.

Please tell me you noticed Gavin in these two pictures.

Ava is all about her Autograph Book. And she was pretty bummed that Sullivan couldn't sign her book— his hands are a little to big.

I'm so sad this picture didn't work... lame sun.
Can you tell that the Characters are one of the main reasons why we love Disneyland. My kids are a little obsessed!

The cute Babies watching the big kids do the bumper cars.

Ava got a Cute Dessert at Cafe Orleans and a Candle to make a Birthday wish!

The Princesses!
We were so happy they finally did something with the Princesses, rather than just standing in a long line to meet them and take a picture!
They had Princess Story Time... Where Bell told her Wonderful Story!
and they got to Dance with them as well!
Lets just say it was definitely one of the highlights!

I love Ava's face in that picture on Space mountain! When Ryan went with her he was leaning over trying to hear whether or not she was crying on her first roller coaster ride.
You would think that she hated it but she actually liked it… enough that she wanted—or was willing to go on it twice, so i could go with her too!

One of our Favorite Rides
Toy Story Mania!

Cotton Candy Break

Tower of Terror
I don't know how we got her to do that one again!

Once again we had a Very Magical Day!
I really think all of Ava's Dream came true on her 5th Birthday!

Things we remember
•Taking Gavin this time—he did amazing! And loved everything!
•Seeing World of Color for the first time
•All the Christmas Decorations
•Going with the Tibbitts! They know all the tricks so you dont have to stand in line!
•The New Princess Attractions!
•Poor Alex getting Car sick and throwing up all over himself right as we got off the Freeway. So we had to make a Stop at Target for a new outfit! :(
•Loved having the Double Stroller this time...thanks Oklands for letting us borrow it!
•Oh how i was sick of Seeing and hearing about "Tron" It was everywhere in the Park!
•Really mad we didn't get to see Tangled! The line was always over an Hour and half long...sorry Ava!
•Ava's Birthday Pin. Ava loved how everyone would say “Happy birthday Ava!”
• The next day totally having a Disneyland Hang over!... happens everytime!

We had a Fabulous Time!
We Love Disneyland
We Love the Tibbitts
and
We Love Ava
I'm so happy we took her on her 5th Birthday—She will always remember it! And so will we!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AVA!
