First Stop on our week long Vacation to California
San Diego
for CJ and Keri's Wedding
They got married on Saturday, July 24th in the San Diego Temple
Ryan had to work the day before so we decided to just get up Really Early (like 3am early) so we could get to the temple by 10am. The plan was to get the kids out of bed once we were already to leave and they would go right back to sleep in the car and they would sleep most of the drive... we were way wrong—both kids were up...and very energized at 3am, Ava was awake the whole drive and Gavin slept for maybe an hour! Either way we got there in time for the wedding!
It was very nice to see some of my family and spend time with them!
Can you believe the Temple was all in scaffolding! Such a bummer, we were so excited to see the
"Princess Castle"
I felt so bad for all the brides... not a very pretty sight for all your wedding photos! I guess they gave all the couples photos of the temple, so there Photographers could photo shop the temple in the background! Super Lame!
We even got to see my Friend Lucy from High School! So bummed she didn't have her baby Betsy with her!

After the Temple we headed to Old Towne San Diego for some Lunch. Fred's was a very good choice for some great Mexican Food!
Then it was off to our next stop
Silver Strand Beach
which took us 4 hours to get there... oh how i hate California Traffic
(at Least the kids slept most of the way)
