Beach Week Why does this week always go by So fast! Once again we had a Fabulous time! (A bit Cold... but still Fabulous!) Family, Friends, Good Food and all day Entertainment for the Kids— Always a GOOD thing!
Every time I would try and take a picture of Savvy she would try and attack me!
Gavin was so good on the beach. He would just walk around, find any ball he could find (usually a football that was as big as he is) and throw it to whomever would play catch. Other then his white skin—he was made for the beach.
The Cake the Girls made for me... They were playing Cake Boss! Yum
First Stop on our week long Vacation to California San Diego for CJ and Keri's Wedding They got married on Saturday, July 24th in the San Diego Temple
Ryan had to work the day before so we decided to just get up Really Early (like 3am early) so we could get to the temple by 10am. The plan was to get the kids out of bed once we were already to leave and they would go right back to sleep in the car and they would sleep most of the drive... we were way wrong—both kids were up...and very energized at 3am, Ava was awake the whole drive and Gavin slept for maybe an hour! Either way we got there in time for the wedding! It was very nice to see some of my family and spend time with them!
Can you believe the Temple was all in scaffolding! Such a bummer, we were so excited to see the "Princess Castle" I felt so bad for all the brides... not a very pretty sight for all your wedding photos! I guess they gave all the couples photos of the temple, so there Photographers could photo shop the temple in the background! Super Lame!
We even got to see my Friend Lucy from High School! So bummed she didn't have her baby Betsy with her!
Best photo we got of all the kids
Congratulations CJ and Keri We love you guys!
After the Temple we headed to Old Towne San Diego for some Lunch. Fred's was a very good choice for some great Mexican Food!
Then it was off to our next stop Silver Strand Beach which took us 4 hours to get there... oh how i hate California Traffic (at Least the kids slept most of the way)
Gavin— Our little Artist He really loves to Color! He does it all time, on everything (not always a good thing) and he entertains himself for a very long time.
My favorite—is when he lays on the Floor and does it!
Is he right or left handed? Still haven't quite figured that out yet. Not sure he even knows at this point.
A couple of weekends ago we had 2 dogs staying at our House! Ellie and Fritz they are Miniature Schnauzers. Ryan's Friend from Work was going to San Diego for the Weekend and Ryan offered our Services! I have to say it was a little crazy having 2 kids and 2 dogs running around our house. Between the Yelling, Barking and crying our house was very Loud! And it definitely didn't help that Fritz (the Bigger one) and Gavin did not get along! You see these dogs are not used to being around kids so when you have a little crazy kid coming at you that is the same size as you... you bark! And when that Crazy kid Hits you cause your Barking you Bark even More! So for the most part we had to separate Gavin and Fritz!
Oh but Ava Loved the Dogs! She did not let those dogs out of her sight! She was very cute with them…but it still doesn't make me want to have a dog—SORRY!
This is Gavin playing catch with Ellie. Both could play this all day if we let them.
We tried to take the dogs for a walk but we had to wait until the Sun went down, even then we were dying of Heat! Ava was so sad when they left—she Cried…a lot!
That same week we Celebrated Olivia's 9th Birthday! One night—family Party with Cake and Ice Cream and another day with Friends for Lunch and a Movie. We went and Saw Despicable Me(in 3D) Very Funny Movie! Even ask Ava—I think she Laughed the whole movie!
Olivia— Hope you had a Great Birthday We love you!
Guys?
Just thought I would end this Post with 2 Awesome Pictures of my Kids! (thanks Ava for another great self Portrait!)
Meet AVA... Our Little SWIMMER! A couple weeks ago we got Ava to take off the her floaties, and let mom and dad be her NEW Floaties. (That's really what we told her—it was the only thing that worked!) She was a little nervous at first, but has turned into a Fish ever sense! Everyday she asks me if we can go swimming—so most days we do! Cause what else are you supposed to do in 115 degree weather?
Ava I can't believe how Big you're getting! Swimming, Dancing, getting your Ears Pierced... You have grown up way too much this year!
The Day after we got home, we were so excited that Ryan had the Day off. So we decided to get out of the Heat and go see Toy Story 3 Very Cute movie, Ava loved it and me and Ryan loved the Parts that we saw— Gavin not so Good at the Movies! He did really good when we first got there with the popcorn and Drink, but by the time we waited for the movie to start and got through the Previews, he was Done and wanted to explore the Movie theatre! So me and Ryan had to take turns taking him out. Thanks Gavin for making it such a Awesome experience!
And After the Movie we headed to the Mall for the Big Moment! Ava Getting her Ears Pierced! She has been Asking and asking if she could get her Ear Pierced, and I have been trying to put it off! So once we got home from Utah I gave in and let her do it!
This is what she used to walk around in! (Those are Mrs. Potato Heads earings)
I cant believe how Calm she was, she wasn't nervous at all! I was the Scared one! I was so Nerves for her!
She did amazing! After about a Minute she stopped crying and has not cried or complained one time about them!
Doesn't she look so Beautiful! She can't wait until she can take out those studs and wear the "Really Beautiful" Big dangling ones! Oh My!
UTAH It was a Great Trip! We had so much FUN! It was very Crazy to have so much going on and so much Entertainment. Cause In Arizona we don't have a lot of family around, Like we do in Utah where there was always something going on to Entertain us. It's especially bad right now with it being 115 degrees outside so we're limited on activities! So thank you so much everyone for Entertaining us, and making our Trip So much Fun!
Here are a few more Random Photos from our Trip.
Our Little Nate
Cut his Hair. We cant believe it. Its so Weird not seeing him with Hair! But he does look very Good! And you cant really see the Scars on his Head either.
We even went to the new Grocery Store WinCo That was being Built right next to our old place. We were very upset cause it opened like a week after we moved. It would of been so nice to have a Grocery Store we could walk to!
The kids had so much Fun Playing with Everyone! Gracie... Ava misses you so much! And I think My dad and Gavin were glued at the Hip the Whole time... he wanted nothing to do with me! We Love and Miss Everyone So much Thanks Again everyone, it was so nice to see all of you!
