Woody and Jessie

So this year for halloween the kids were
Woody and Jessie
(as you can see) Ava was so excited and Loved every minute of it.
Ava came up with the idea in August, and with me having no ability to sew, we had to call in reinforcements... the Mimi. The master sewer! We asked her in August so she would have plenty of time and so she wouldn't stress about it. But i think she still did! (I'm so sorry)

Gavin's Costume
The Shirt— is from Polo cause we couldn't find a yellow one. But worked out Great cause now he wears it to Church and looks so cute! The Vest—Mimi made, even had a Woody on the back! The Hat—I found for a $1.00 and painted it brown and added the leather trim. The Boots—Nana found at DI. and The Belt Buckle and Big Buttons—I made out of Felt.

Ava's Costume
The Hat—we got that online. The Wig—was actually from our Ariel costume a couple of years ago. The Shirt and Chaps—Mimi made... amazing! Still can't believe she did that! I would love to know how to sew... but don't want take the time to learn how do it! The Boots—we got in Salt Lake at A. A. Callisters. The Big Buttons and Belt Buckle—I made out of felt.

I loved their Costumes! But most of all Ava loved it. She would just stand in front of the mirror and say "i really do look like Jessie!" So cute. I wonder why sometimes I put so much time (or make someone else put in so much time) into their Halloween Costumes. But then when I see my kids all dressed up and see the Big smiles on their faces.
It's totally worth it!

I Love— my Kids
I Love— their Costumes
I Love— halloween
and
I Love— all the People who Made it happen!

October Fun

To start off October fun we went to Olivia's
Fall Festival
at her school. But it didn't turn out like we planned! first we forgot that Ryan and Eric wouldn't be there cause of Priesthood Session— that means me and Amy by ourselves again with kids. Second we only lasted 20 minutes... cause a major Dust storm came threw. So bad that they put everything away. No blow ups + no Pony rides = No fun. The little girls got to do like 3 blow ups and Livy didn't get to do anything cause she was in line the whole time. So we got our Kettle Corn and went home. We were so sad.

Watching a movie on Sunday after Church— with mickey and minnie.
I love it when they play so Good with each other!

Don't know what it is but my kids love WIGS!

Eric got tickets to go see
Mickey's Magic Show!
Very Good... the kids loved it!
Even Gavin was so excited to see the Characters (makes me so excited to take him to Disneyland)

He is such a Cheese Ball!

Ava's Favorite part was when they made Jasmin float in the Air... they even put a hula hoop around her to show there was no Strings! How do they do that? Ava just kept saying
"Magic Happens!"

Thanks again Eric for getting the tickets!

And i just had to post this Picture— It makes Ryan SO proud!!

Chicago with Da Boys

It's that time of year again. The Hyde boys had to take one for the team and go to
Chicago
to see Da Bears play Da Packers. It was tough for all involved and we really didn't have any fun. At least that's what we tell the Woman back at home. So here's what we did.

"Cubs - Official Line Up - Cubs". That's what the guy selling the programs supposedly says. It sounded more like "Ma sha ma na Ma". Day one we went to see the Cubbies play the Cardinals in a game that didn't matter for either team but the place was still packed. I didn't know that the Cubs have a curse that's worse then the Red Sox curse used to be. They have a sign in right field that shows that they haven't won a World Series in over 100 years.

I've been to a few MLB stadiums—Dodgers, Camden Yards, Angels, Diamond Backs, and Fenway. OK not Fenway but soon. This was the coolest stadium of all. We were so close to the players and the field just felt so much smaller.

This is the view we had from our seats. One of the coolest things about the stadium is the fact that they have bleachers on top of roofs in the outfield. How cool is that.

The cubs won! The cubs have a song they sing after they win and I'm pretty sure I knew it after the first verse. They also have W flags that everyone waves while singing such a fantastic toon.

In case you want to enjoy the song the cubs sing after they win, here it is.

We took a walk in Millenium park and took pictures of us at the bean. I think the pictures speak for themselves. Awesome.

The cop below was all business. He refused to wait for us to take a picture so here we are together. At least he was leaning a bit.

Da Super Fans.

The 4th phase was us. The fans. Da super fans. The 1st phase is the offense, the 2nd phase is defense, 3rd phase special teams, and 4th phase—yup.

Da Bears have a fight song. After the first touchdown they played it and we all couldn't breathe because we were laughing so hard. Inspiring really.

Da Bears and Cubbies won. We walked the halls, streets, and restrooms of Al Capone. We walked. We ate. We ate a lot of amazing food. I'm still recovering from my Argentine Steak that is making my mouth salivate at this time. It was that good and big. Chicago is really a great city. Thanks everyone who made it happend and we'll see you all next year in . . .

Utah Trip (Part 4)

On our last day in
Utah
we stopped by Thanksgiving Point Farm County to check out all the animals and see Alyse and Alysen of Course! It was so fun seeing them and all their kids—I still can't believe we have kids.

Gavin and Ava loved the horses! Gavin was not very happy only getting one turn on the horse. I think he could have stayed there all day.

And Ava just thought she was Hannah Montana—riding Blue Jeans! And she even had the cowboy boots on! thanks to Mimi...we found the cutest boots ever for her Halloween Costume!

Ava and Owen

All the kids... I still can't believe we have that many kids!
The two in the back our Alyse's twins Blakely and Beau—only 11 days younger then Gavin. And the two by Ava are Alysen's, Owen just turned 3 and little Andi is 9 months.

One last stop at the Dodo with the Hyde's before heading to the Airport.

We had such a great time in Utah...I get so sad seeing all our pictures from Utah. I miss being with all our family and friends. I can't say thank you enough to everyone who let us stay at there house, Hyde's for letting us Drive your Car, Rob for giving us one of your free flights and everyone who made our trip so much Fun!
We love everyone and miss you all so much!

We'll see you all on Thanksgiving!... and this time our Dad gets to come!

Utah Trip (Part 3)

(Ava had to bring all her stuff to Jacks baseball game and had to have it all out so they could watch the game too!)

The one thing you can always count on in my family is the Amount of Sporting Events they have going on. While we were in town we got to see all my brothers play something. Jack—Baseball, Seth—Football (would of saw baseball too, but he hurt his arm) and Nate—Football! Yes, tackle football. It is the funnest thing ever to watch. There just these little bodies with big Helmets! And they call Nate—Lord Helmet.

Jack did amazing, He's an awesome Pitcher!
I can't believe how Tall and Skinny he is. I think he's taller then me now!

My mom is a little kindergarten aid at my Brother's school—which she loves. So Ava was so excited to be able to go to Kindergarten with her for the week! She felt SO big, She was so excited to tell everyone in her Preschool that she went to Kindergarten!

Meet the new additions to our family.
Sunny with the braids and Blue eyes and Allie with the straight hair and Green eyes.
Kanani and Brooklynne gave them to Ava. We were so excited. About a week before we went to Utah Ava had discovered American Girl Dolls, and was asking and asking if we could buy one. And of Course I was putting her off cause I didn't want to buy a $100 doll. So when we went to Utah and they told Ava that she could have both Dolls and numerous Outfits to go with them we were Super Excited. So thanks Haw's you saved me a lot of money and made Ava the happiest little girl!

I love this picture of Ava and Grace! It makes me laugh! I can't believe they have the same outfit... Target Special! Ava was so excited to play American Girls Dolls with Grace.
Do you like that they all have the same Hair do— even the dolls!

Nate's Football Game (did i mention how funny it is watching such little kids play tackle football!)

And of course Nate will not wear the helmet they gave him, he has to wear Seth's helmet... it has to be the real deal! plus his head probably doesn't fit in the other ones!

Lets just say Gavin was outside 80% of the trip. All he wanted to do was be outside playing basketball, baseball, football or riding the Scooter! He is a nut. I'm just glad it wasn't me having to be out there all the time. He wanted nothing to do with me. It was all Papa or one of the boys (if my dad was busy with something) He definitely loved having SO many boys around to play with.

Don't they look so much alike? Ava just has tanner Skin!
