Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point

In April we went to The Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point with the Tibbits. It was so nice to get out of the house and enjoy the nice weather. (I believe it snowed the week before)

We are really sad... the Tibbitts are moving to California and we are really going to miss them! But we can't wait to visit, and go to Disneyland!

Easter

We had a Fun, kinda relaxing, kinda Crazy Easter. We started out with a visit from the Easter Bunny. Ava was Very excited about what the Easter bunny brought her.

I feel like I was kinda a loser mother this year cause I didn't even get Ava a New Easter Dress. I guess my mind was somewhere else, I didn't even think about it. Sorry Ava!! But Ava was still excited about going to church with Papa and Julie.

After Church we meet up with everyone at my Grandma's for Dinner, Easter Egg Hunt and to Fly Ava's new Kite. We were very lucky that we had pretty good weather. After that we went over to Sullivan's for another Easter Dinner. We had a lot of fun being with family and getting out of house (something that doesn't happen very often)

We got Gavin in the Bath for the first time with Ava. Lets just say he was not to sure about it.

Life with 2 Kids

While it's been over a week now that I have been a mother of 2 children—I don't know how to explain it but I have been feeling a mixture of totally overwhelmed and totally Bored. I guess not being able to get up and go whenever I want or not being able to get ready before lunch has made me (and Ava) a little crazy. I didn't realize how having 2 children would change almost everything. When Ryan is at work and it's just me and kids, I am totally out numbered, if Ava is not yelling at me to help her with something, then Gavin is crying needing to be feed or changed or just wants to be held. I feel Like I am always needed. And then there is my house, trying to keep it clean and organized so that when we do have visitors come over it doesn't look like a total disaster… and it doesn't help that I am totally OCD about everything being clean and looking the way it should before I can just sit down and relax.

WOW, I just sounded like I hate my life…

But really I am LOVING every minute of it. We have had so much fun with Gavin he is such a good baby! I can't complain about anything. His Sleeping at night is a Dream. He eats and poops around 11:30 and then is out until 4 and eats and poops again and is out again tell like 8:30 or 9. Some days even longer, it is SO nice. And everything else is just great and it is so fun and such a blessing to have such a cute little baby boy in our family.

How could you not LOVE him?

Exclusive Pictures of Gavin Robert Hyde

Gavin Robert Hyde is weighing in at 7 lbs 14 oz, and 19 inches long.

There is the Hyde family. Ava is having a hard time right now with Jamie and Gavin not coming home. She doesn't understand they have to stay at the Hospital "they look healthy to me" she tells me. She said that if they don't sleep at her house then that means she doesn't have a mommy or a baby brother. It's so sad and nothing I say about why they have to stay makes sense.

Any resemblance?

Seeing these pictures of Ava makes me realize just how big she is. Isn't Gavin just so cute. He just pounded a bottle which is why he's awake (he is down to pound, seriously).

Ava's Sleep Over

I just had to take a picture of this and post it cause this is what i have to do every night. Not only do I have to put Ava to bed and tuck her in but I have to do it for her babies and Flat Stanley ( I made Flat Stanley for my little brother's book report and once he was done with him at school Ava insisted that he come home with us.)

Happy Birthday... Jamie And Seth

So this year for my Birthday I decided it would be a good day to take Ava up skiing. I used to ski alot before I had Ava. But ever sense I had her I haven't gone, which isn't such a bad thing, cause I think my favorite part about skiing was going to the Lodge. So this time was Great! I got to watch Ava Ski and I got to hang out in the Lodge.

And Seth (my oldest Brother) Turned 16 on the 19th so we decided to combine our family Birthday Parties... wait we do that every year. But for this year we did it at our New Club House. We had so much Fun! We played pool, Watched American Idol in the Movie room, the Boys played there Game Systems and got in the Hot Tub and we all ate lots of Food.

Happy Birthday Seth and Myself!

Ava's First Time Skiing!

OK where do I even start with this. Monday (the 16th... my birthday) we took Ava up to Deer Valley to go Skiing for the first time. We got there before lunch and we decided to take her down a few runs before we ate, and lets just say it wasn't a good idea. She was not liking it at all she was crying, the Magic Carpet wasn't working, it was snowing and very windy. So we decided it was time for Lunch. But then after lunch it was a whole new story. She was Happy, the Sun came out and she was Loving every minute of it. We were so proud of our little powder puff. Poor girl though she couldn't move or walk with all her gear on. But she looked so cute though.

Ryan and Ava getting on the lift for the first time and lets just say it was a little scary.

See that little hand up. Yeah that's here trying to wave to me. Just trying to move.

This was my favorite part of skiing... Lunch!

Ava is trying to do bunny ears.

Ava loved the Magic Carpet, she didn't want to be Jasmine though.

Is that not the cutest little skier on the mountain you've ever seen?

We are so proud Ava for skiing at 3 years old. Papa Greg gets most the credit for getting her to go down the mountain by herself. We don't know how he did it, cause she would not do it for me and Ryan but then after Lunch Papa Greg took her without me and Ryan, and the next thing we knew she was going down the Hill all by herself.
